Godswill Essien is an Architectural Technologist, construction project manager and the founder of BuildTracka Integrated Services and BuildWithEase. Two brands built on one strong belief: that every Nigerian deserves to build with clarity, confidence and complete control over their money. My journey into construction management did not happen by accident. Trained as an Architectural Technologist, I spent years learning how buildings are designed, how structure, space and systems come together on paper before being transferred to the ground. But somewhere between the drawing board and the building site, I kept seeing the same story: brilliant plans, broken deliveries. Clients defrauded. Projects abandoned. Hard-earned money disappearing with no accountability and no recourse. That gap between what was designed and what was actually built became my calling. I founded BuildTracka to close that gap. As Nigeria's independent construction project management company, BuildTracka sits firmly on the client's side, managing projects, holding funds in milestone-based escrow, monitoring sites and fighting for the people who are paying, not the contractors who are being paid. I built BuildWithEase because I knew that most people walking into their first build had never been taught how any of this works. The blog is my classroom, a space where diaspora Nigerians, first-time homeowners, busy professionals and real estate investors can learn the language of construction before the contractors do the talking. My architectural background is not just a qualification. It is my competitive edge. I read and interpret drawings others cannot. I speak the language of both the designer and the builder, and uses that fluency to protect every project I'm involved in.
